Croyez moi, mon cher monsieur,
votre ami d'arme
Jules Verne

My Dear Sir, I have received
your letter dated the 6th, I am leaving tonight for
Paris, my wife started her
convalescence, and I will be Thursday morning
in le Havre, where my men should
have arrived. I hope that as
you stated, the St Michel will be
entirely ready, because I will only have
time to bring it back to St Valery,
my absence cannot be extended
this time.
I am very sorry that I could not
accompany you for the first departure
this day.
Believe me, my Dear Sir,
Your friend-in arms Jules Verne
